On August 5, 2010, ESU #11 offered a SMART Board introductory workshop. This workshop was designed to show instructors the process of how to create and incorporate classroom lessons using the SMART Board, as well as how to use the device successfully, effectively, and creatively to enhance lessons that increase student interest and participation.
Teachers explored the tools available with the SMART Board, along with the SMART Notebook software. Teachers analyzed lessons that others have created and acquired the skills needed to create their own lessons. Participants also learned to search and find lessons already available on-line to utilize in the classroom.
