Over 500 central Nebraska students gathered at The Tassel on October 29 for a foreign language concert staring Ennio Emmanuel. Emmanuel is a singer-song writer and producer. He had lived in Puerto Rico, prior to living in America, and lived in New York City, Ohio, Florida and Los Angeles. This concert is part of an international cultural experience for area high school students enrolled in Spanish class. The ESU 11 Professional Development Department coordinated the event.
Emmanuel sang numerous songs during the performance. During one particular song, students from Eustis-Farnam Public School performed a choreographed dance. In addition, students from other schools were called on stage to dance and play instruments while Emmanuel sang.
