On January 14, 2014, ESU 11 provided day one of a three-day APL workshop. This workshop provided teachers with a top-notch professional growth experience that focused on instructional and classroom management skills. The skills learned during this workshop will help increase student time on task, improve student behavior and performance, and increase student motivation.

VEX Robotics Workshop
The ESU 11 Gifted Department organized a VEX Robotics workshop for students in the unit. 20 students attended from seven different schools. Bob Redler from Southeast Community College in Milford lead the workshop with kits for the students to construct their own robot. Many creative ideas were shared and different techniques were learned.
NeBooks Project Workshop
