On February 27, 2017, ESU 11 hosted a workshop for foreign language teachers. Participants of this workshop established a rationale for transitioning from grammar-based, traditional World Language instruction to Comprehensible Input (CI) methods, shared lessons and techniques, developed a minimum of 3 CI strategies to implement, and learned how to make modifications using textbook/worksheets to create the following:
· Personalized Questions and Answer (PQA)
· Circling techniques
· Total Physical Response (TPR)
· Storytelling
· Teaching Proficiency Through Reading and Storytelling
