On August 5, 2013, Staff Development Director Kate Hatch met with teachers from the ESU 11 area who participated in the Teacher Academy program. This is a program within the ESU #11 consortium area that is designed to help teachers develop skills that will transfer to the classroom as they work with students in preparing for the world of work. During the summer, teachers had the opportunity to spend time in a workplace of their interest, with the intent being they can more easily recognize the needs of business and industry. The following is a list of this year’s participants and the businesses they shadowed. Please feel free to contact them if you would like to learn about their experience.
