Thirty students from six school districts in Nebraska attended the ceremony with Governor Heineman in the Warner Chamber of the State Capitol Building in Lincoln on April 9, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Prior to the ceremony, the student award winners and their teachers/sponsors met in the State Attorney General’s office. Ryan Sothan, the AG Community Outreach spokesperson, addressed the group and congratulated them for their achievements. Southern Valley’s first grade class won the K-4 Open category in the Internet Safety Contest sponsored by the Attorney General’s office and the Nebraska Educational Service Units. Congratulations to Mrs. Wright and her students.
