On October 25, 2021, ESU 11 hosted a Professional Learning Community meeting for 7-12 grade Social Studies teachers. PLCs are an ongoing process in which educators work collaboratively to achieve better results for the students they serve. During the course of the day, teachers had the opportunity to learn how to integrate inquiry into the Social Studies classroom. Dr. Ebony McKiver, Social Studies Consultant at the Nebraska Department of Education, was the facilitator for the day.
