On October 16, 2013, ESU #11 hosted a Portrait Photography Workshop for area teachers and students. Participants learned techniques for posing, lighting, and exposure to create a flawless portrait. Brad Mellema, an accomplished photographer from Axtell, was the instructor for the workshop. His work has been published in dozens of magazines, websites, and newspapers including the New York Times, Omaha World Herald, Midwest Living, and NebraskaLand.
