The 24th Annual Invention Convention hosted by Educational Service Unit #11 of Holdrege, and organized by Janelle Jack, Gifted Education Coordinator was held Monday, March 23, 2015 at Pioneer Village in Minden. 158 inventors in Grades 3-8 participated. 100 Days of Preschool at Up4Kids
On March 4th Up4Kids Preschool celebrated our 100th Day at School. All week they did activities centered around the number 100. The students did 100 exercises. ESU #11 held “Facing the Frontal Lobe: Strategies to Support Executive Function Skills” workshop presented by Jill Kuzma via DL on Friday Feb. 28th. Special educators from Central Nebraska learned about Executive Functioning, how to asses this area and strategies to support students who have difficulty in this area.
