During the week of June 15, 2020, the ESU #11 Staff Development Department provided an intensive training for teachers within the service unit area. This training was designed to help teachers gain information on the impact that Social Emotional Learning has on academic learning. This course was taught by master teacher, Karmen Scharff-Sears, counselor at Kearney Public Schools. Teachers from the following districts participated in the class: Loomis, Alma, ESU 11, Bertrand, Gibbon, Wilcox-Hildreth, and Holdrege, and Dundy County.
