Approximately 200 central Nebraska students gathered at The Tassel in Holdrege on Thursday, November 7th for a foreign language concert starring Edgar Rene from Puerto Rico. This concert is part of an international cultural experience for area high school students enrolled in Spanish classes. The ESU 11 Professional Development Department coordinated the event. Edgar sang numerous songs during the performance. During one particular song, students from Loomis High School performed a choreographed dance. Districts attending the concert included: Amherst, Axtell, Arapahoe, Cozad, Eustis-Farnam, Franklin, Holdrege, Loomis, Wilcox- Hildreth, Decatur Community High School, and Kenesaw.
