On September 17, 2020, Kate Hatch and Jody Bauer conducted the second workshop for Entry Year Assistance for new teachers. At this session of training, the group focused on establishing positive relationships with parents, along with strategies and tactics that can be utilized to ensure successful, non threatening parent/teacher conferences we shared. In light of the current global pandemic, the group also learned best practices and resources for remote instruction and experienced VR headsets and other technology tools that can be utilized in order to increase student engagement.
