Districts Work to Develop a Common Language of Instruction

On August 7 and 8, 2017, Kate Hatch supported Bertrand and Wilcox-Hildreth Public Schools by coordinating a two-day APL workshop.  New teachers from Elwood, Southern Valley, and Alma also participated in the workshop.   This workshop provided teachers with a top-notch professional growth experience that focused on instructional and classroom management skills.  The skills learned during this workshop will help increase student time on task, improve student behavior and performance, and increase student motivation.  These districts will use the strategies learned in this workshop to help the district create a common language of instruction.
