Attorney Karen Haase Speaks to ESU #11 Counselors

On December 14, 2011, Educational Service Unit #11 sponsored a learning opportunity for area counselors.  During this meeting, attorney Karen Haase, from the Harding and Schultz Law Firm in Lincoln, Nebraska, addressed the group.   Karen presented information regarding counselor privileges, parental access to children, non-custodial parents and special education, custody disputes, reporting abuse, foster children, and the ramifications and school responsibilities that go along with each of those topics.  To view Karen’s powerpoint, click on the following link.
