On February 28, 2017, ESU 11 organized an art enrichment workshop for area art teachers. This workshop was facilitated by Ellen Kuhl, former art instructor at Southern Valley. This day was designed for the artist/educator teaching kindergarten through twelfth grade. This year’s project was pewter casting. Ellen demonstrated how to create a mold, melt the pewter, and then pour the pewter into the mold so beautiful pieces can be created. In addition to learning this art technique, the art teachers were also able to collaborate and share other ideas that they were able to take back to their individual schools.
