During the week of June 3, 2019, the ESU #11 Staff Development Department provided an intensive training for teachers within the service unit area. This training was designed to provide teachers with best practices for teaching future ready skills through the use of technology. Participants collaborated and created lessons using digital resources and tools that promote online safety, ethical use, student engagement, and high academic achievement to meet multiple literacies standards. This course was taught by ESU 11 Technology Curriculum Consultant, Jody Bauer, and master teacher Stephanie Dannehl from Bertrand Community Schools. Teachers from the following districts participated in the class: Elwood, Alma, Holdrege, Gibbon, Loomis, Wilcox-Hildreth, and Bertrand.
