Over 200 central Nebraska students and their Spanish teachers gathered at The Tassel in Holdrege on Wednesday, October 31st for a foreign language concert staring Edgar Rene from Puerto Rico. This concert is part of an international cultural experience for area high school students enrolled in Spanish classes. The ESU 11 Professional Development Department coordinated the event. Edgar sang numerous songs during the performance. During one particular song, students from Holdrege High School performed a choreographed dance. Districts attending the concert included: Amherst, Arapahoe, Axtell, Hastings St. Cecilia, Cozad, Eustis-Farnam, Franklin, Holdrege and Wilcox-Hildreth.
