Entry Year Workshop

On September 8, 2016, Kate Hatch conducted the second workshop for Entry Year Assistance for new teachers. At this session of training, the group focused on classroom management, how to establish positive relationships with parents, and preparing for parent teacher conferences.  In addition Kate presented strategies and tactics that can be utilized to ensure successful, nonthreatening conferences.  ESU #11 Technology Curriculum Consultant Jody Bauer also showcased the ESU 11 website and a variety of free online tools such as CK-12, Poll Everywhere, Kahoot, and Google Forms, that can be used to increase student engagement and help create a blended learning environment.
