On April 25, 2016, NDE Social Studies Consultant Harris Payne conducted a GIS workshop at ESU 11. During the course of the day, teachers and students learned how to utilize a geographic information system to analyze and display all forms of information that are referenced geographically. Teachers and students then worked collaboratively to put this information into a story map.
