Counselor Meeting

On December 17, 2015 Educational Service Unit #11 sponsored the opportunity for area counselors to participate in a networking process that occurs four times each year.  Staff Development Director Kate Hatch organized the counselors’ day.  During this particular meeting, Casey Smith and Kasey Zimmerman from the Department of Health and Human Services provided information about student placement.  The group also held a sharing session to discuss programs that are used with freshman and sophomore students.  Transition Coordinator, Lona Nelson-Milks, shared information regarding this year’s transition workshops, and how her office can assist teachers in helping students attain life skills.
