NeBooks Project Workshop

On Tuesday, November 12, 2013 ESU 11 hosted a NeBooks Project Workshop. The NeBooks Project is a partnership between schools, state agencies and non-profit organizations across Nebraska for the common purpose of providing quality instructional materials.   Kristina Peters, an eLearning Specialist with NDE and Brent Gaswick a Tech Integration Specialist, demonstrated how to create interactive content and publish with iBooks Author.  Teachers and students created a digital book by dragging in a Pages document, inserting photos and movies, adding a Keynote presentation, and widgets. Copyright and Fair Use was also addressed when creating interactive content.
