On September 20, 2022, ESU 11 hosted a professional learning community (PLC) meeting for kindergarten and first grade Math teachers. PLCs are an ongoing process in which educators work collaboratively to achieve better results for the students they serve. During the course of the day, teachers had the opportunity to learn about Nebraska’s new College and Career Ready Math Standards, the instructional shifts that will be taking place because of these new standards, and how they can best prepare to teach them.
