On October 21, 2021 Educational Service Unit #11 sponsored the opportunity for area counselors to participate in a networking process that occurs four times each year. Staff Development Director, Kate Hatch, organized the counselors’ day. During this particular meeting, Dr. Paul Barnes, Dean of the College of Education and Human Sciences at South Dakota State University, connected virtually with the group to discuss solution focused counseling in the school setting. Diana Watson and Dan Gettinger from Central Community also shared opportunities that are currently being offered at CCC to support post-secondary credit in CTE programs of study.
