On September 29, 2022, ESU 11 hosted a Professional Learning Community for 7-12 grade math teachers. During the course of the day, the teachers explored the concept of “learning acceleration” opposed to remediation. The group also investigated the newly revised Nebraska State Math Standards, the instructional shifts that will be required as a result of these standards, and NDE’s vision for mathematics instruction in the state of Nebraska.
