Instructional Strategies Course offered at Educational Service Unit #11 in Holdrege

During the week of June 11, 2012, the ESU #11 Staff Development Department provided an intensive training for teachers within the service unit area.  This training focused on instructional strategies that are most likely to improve student achievement.  Participants developed projects and activities to integrate these strategies in all content areas and grade levels.  Teachers also had to plan, describe, and select appropriate strategies, resources, and evaluation tools.  This training also provided an excellent opportunity for teachers to network with each other and utilize the ESU Media Center.  This course was taught by master teachers Linda Black (Bertrand), Cheryl Orcutt (Loomis), Marjean Schultz (Southern Valley) and Lisa Atchison (Bertrand).
