The 7th Annual Central Nebraska Youth First Conference was held in Kearney at the University of Nebraska Student Union on March 28, 2012. One hundred ninety-five people enjoyed the opportunity to participate in an event on a college campus.
Tyler Greene shared his powerful message of ability awareness. Tyler created a video for his Eagle Scout project, which has now been seen in all 50 states and other countries. Tyler encouraged those in the audience to take “can’t” out of their vocabulary and replace it with creative alternatives to achieve the desired outcome.
Teachers had the opportunity to attend three sessions, while students rotated through four sessions. Exhibitors were available for students and teachers to visit with throughout the day. Nine lucky students were awarded door prizes donated by exhibitors.
