On September 26, 2011, ESU #11 hosted a workshop for area administrators. The focus of this workshop was to demonstrate how the use of Google Forms could be utilized to create a paperless walk-through observation tool. Quality supervision of instruction involves providing feedback to teachers as well as gathering school level data about instructional practices.
Mitch Kubicek, the Dorchester Superintendent, has developed and implemented a Google Form that can be used as a way to accomplish these objectives. Participants were trained on how to use the tool, as well as how to develop a customized form based on their current walk-through instrument and/or principles of learning.
